Some updates

Okay, I just did some work on my monologue and I can most likely have it up by tomorrow. But my official deadline is still Wednesday, so if you see it before then, rack it up to hard work.

Also, I recently received my copy of Jeff Kitchen's Script Analysis. The way he breaks down movies here is much better than the way he does it in Writing a Great Movie. The thing is, and I've heard the same thing with Save the Cat Goes to the Movies, is that the movies don't fit his structure exactly. He does apply his tool to about 90% of each movie (easy when you're so much looser than Blake Snyder) so it's still informative. In fact, I wished I read it before I started sequencing out my screenplay before.

By the end of next week (Sunday is the beginning of the week as far as I'm concerned, but week after next if you're using a Goim calendar), I should have a well structured through line (if I get it done a day or two after my comedy monologue, consider me hardworking).

My only problem now is deciding how many goals and what aspects of the protagonist's problem I want to explore. I'll probably have the story take place within two months, probably less.
